Getting started

This is where you begin. Creating an album takes a few minutes; the rest of this section is about what you choose along the way — and how much of it you can still change afterwards.

What happens on the night itself lives under Guest uploads, not here.

2 things are worth doing before the first invitation goes out: upload something yourself from a phone that is not yours, and check how long your album collects for. Both take minutes and remove the 2 surprises nobody can fix later.

Everything else here can be filled in as you go. The name, the date, the cover photo, even the type of event — none of it is a decision you are stuck with. That is deliberate: an album you may only create once everything is settled gets created too late.
