Your event has 1 short code and 3 screens behind it. The upload page is where guests send photos, the album is where anyone with the code browses what came in, and the live wall is the screen you put on a TV or a projector at the party.
The upload page and the album work from the moment the event exists. The live wall belongs to Celebrate and Grand, and even there it starts switched off until you turn it on.
What do guests see right after they scan?
The upload page, in the phone’s own browser. It carries your event name and asks for no account, no app and no email address before the first photo goes up. Photos are always offered; video and voice notes are switches you own, so a guest sees only what you left on.
2 extra steps can sit on that page, and both start off: a consent sheet before the first upload, and a name question after it. Leave them off and a guest is finished in under a minute.
- Print 1 address. The code on your table cards leads to the upload page. That is the only thing a guest has to reach.
- Decide about the album. It opens to anyone holding the code by default. Close it, or put a viewing password in front of it.
- Open the wall on the venue screen. A browser on the TV, no sign-in. Skip it if nobody in the room will look at a screen.
Where does the album live, and who can open it?
At its own address under the same code, and it is open from the start. Anyone holding the code browses it without signing in, because that is the switch every event gets by default. You can close it in event settings, or set a viewing password that each visitor types once.
Guests reach it from the upload page rather than from a second printed link. The link appears there once the album holds at least 3 contributions, which is how somebody finds their own photo among everyone else’s.
Why is an upload missing from the album?
The album carries what is finished and not hidden, and nothing else. An upload still being prepared, one you hid, or one waiting on your approval stays out of it. Voice notes are their own case: you can keep them out of the shared album while they stay in your dashboard untouched.
So the album is the tidy side of your event and the dashboard is the full pile. Hiding something removes it from the album without deleting the file.
What is the live wall?
A screen in the room that runs itself. The wall sits at its own address under the same code, you open it on a TV, a laptop feeding a projector or any browser at the venue, and it looks for new arrivals every 10 seconds. Nobody signs in and nobody drives it.
It displays and it changes nothing. Whatever happens on the wall leaves the album exactly as it was, so handing the remote to a curious guest costs you nothing.

Leaving the QR code in the corner turns the venue screen into a second invitation for anyone who has not scanned yet.
Which plan do I need for the live wall?
Celebrate at $79 or Grand at $99, paid once for that event. Free and Essential give you the upload page and the album but no wall. On the plans that do carry it the wall still starts switched off, so nothing lands on a screen until you ask for it.
The other 2 screens need no plan decision at all. Every event has an upload page and an album from the moment its code exists.
Does turning on review hold things back everywhere?
On both screens at once. With review switched on, an upload waits in your queue instead of landing in the album, and the wall never sees it either, so a photo you have not looked at cannot appear on a screen in a room full of people. Approving it releases the file to both surfaces in the same moment.
Auto-publish is what an event starts with, and it fits a party where you know the guest list. There is no separate wall queue to work through.
Can I close one screen and leave the others open?
Yes, and the pairs come apart in both directions. Closing uploads stops the upload page and leaves the album readable, which is what you want the week after the party. Hiding the album works the other way round: guests keep sending photos, they only stop browsing what everyone else sent.
1 password covers viewing on both screens. Set an album password and the live wall asks for it too, because the wall reads the same album under the same code.
