Each entry carries what it cost, what it took to set up, and what was left of it a year on. That last part is what most idea lists skip.
There is a difference between an idea that photographs well and an idea that works, and most lists never separate them. A guest book made of instant photos looks wonderful in the two shots taken of it and is half empty by ten. A single sign at the bar, at eye height, with six words on it, photographs like nothing at all and fills an album. Where the two pull apart, these entries say which one you are getting.
Nothing here needs to be decided early. Every idea in this rubric can be added in the last week, several on the morning itself, and that is deliberate — by the time most people go looking for ideas, the big decisions are already made and paid for.
