Short answer

Your profile has your name, the language your dashboard is in, and the email address on the account. It also names the devices right now signed in, so you can revoke any you don't recognize.

Billing details — invoice address and tax ID — live on another screen, not here.

Your name and email address

Your name stays on your account, not for your guests — the guest page names the event instead. The email address on the account is where notifications and retention warnings go, so it's merits checking that it's one you really read.

Nothing on this screen shows up on a guest page, which is why changing your name is consequence-free.

  1. Open your account settings. That's about you, not about an event. Nothing here switches what guests see.
  2. Set your dashboard language. 7 to select from. It's separate from each event s guest-page language.
  3. Look at the signed-in devices. Revoke anything you do not recognize. It takes effect immediately.

The dashboard language

The dashboard speaks 7 languages: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands and 日本語. It switches what you read on your side and not your guests' pages.

Each event has its own guest-page language, set separately, and 8 total — the guest page also lists Bahasa Indonesia.

They're independent. A German dashboard can host an event whose guest page is in Japanese.

The devices signed in

The account lists each device right now signed in, with the one you're using marked. Anything you don't recognize can be revoked, and that takes effect right away instead of at the next sign-in.

That's merits checking after shared-computer use, and after any device you no longer own.

Billing is on another screen

Invoice address, company name and tax ID are billing details and belong to billing, not with your profile. That split catches folks out, since both feel like account settings.

Set them before a purchase instead of after: an issued invoice locks in the details on file at that moment and doesn't change retroactively.

Event settings are separate again

Nothing here touches an event. The name, date, language and styling a guest spots all live with the event, and changing your own profile spares each one.

If you're hunting for a switch and it isn't in your profile, it's on the event.

Where notifications go

Email is the channel. Retention warnings pre-removal, and the notices tied to your account, all land at the address on file. There's no text-message channel for a personal account.

That makes the email address the setting on this page worth double-checking.

Common questions

Does my name appear to guests?

No. The guest page carries the event name, not yours.

How many dashboard languages are there?

7. The guest page has 8, since it also lists Bahasa Indonesia.

Does changing my language change the guest page?

No. Each event sets its guest-page language separately.

Where do I set my invoice address?

On the billing screen, not in your profile. Do it before you pay.

What does revoking a device do?

It signs that device out immediately.
